Gilat Foundation
With interactive theatre performances in academic children’s hospitals, the sickest children within our Kingdom experience moments of distraction, fun, relaxation and are culturally and educationally challenged.
The Gilat Foundation’s interactive theatre shows literally take sick children out of their social isolation and out of the often sterile hospital room. Children look forward to what is to come (they get a real ticket in advance) and experience something imaginative that makes the reality of illness and pain temporarily disappear.
Our interactive theatre is also for parents, caregivers, brothers, sisters, grandparents, as they too relax when they see their sick child smiling and completely absorbed in the interactive theatre play.
